SUNDAY SCHOOL STUDIES-1

SUNDAY SCHOOL:                        REASON FOR CHRISTMAS
Christmas was the celebration of the birth of Christ Jesus. Though no one in our generation knows the specific day that the Lord Jesus was born. Constantine Roman Emperor of that time was the one that changed the date of the celebration of a popular idol, that the whole world adored and worship to the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ, the saviour of the world, so that the celebration and worship of that idol could be stopped and every heart could be turned to the Lord Jesus Christ. That is why the whole world celebrate the birth of Christ the same day.
There is no festival that is celebrated in the whole world like Christmas.
Will you behave like Constantine, and do something for the Lord with your power, your money, your influence within the scope of your authority in Government, in family, or in your school at this time? It is Jesus Christ that makes your life meaningful; without Christ, your life will remain in crisis. What will you do for the kingdom of God where you belong forever?
King James translated the king James Bible from Greek to English at his own time. Everyone at their own time, at their little level should think and pray to know and decide on what they can do to support this great kingdom of God and have their foot print on the sand of time.
CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING
(1)Christmas no doubt is a time to celebrate our redemption and deliverance from Satan and darkness.  Ps.118:15, Ps. 92:1-2.
NOTE: 26th December was declared Holiday throughout the world to box all the Christmas gifts that was received.
(2)It is a time that individuals should think what they can do in appreciation for the one that gave me his life.  Jn.12:6, Jn.15:13-14, Is. 1:19-20.
(3)It is also a time of sober reflection and personal examination, to check if you are still in the faith. IIcor.13:5, Ps.26:2-6.
(4)Christmas time reminds us of the decision we are to make about where we are to spend our eternity.  Deut.3:19-20,  IJn.1:7-9,  Rev.21:7-8.
(5)Christmas time is the time our eyes should be open to the abundance of grace God gave to humanity.  Lk.1:68-74, Rm.8:1-2,  Rm.6:14.

SUNDAY SCHOOL:     IT IS MORE BLESSED TO GIVE THAN TO RECEIVE
One of the first steps to be successful in following God is to re-arrange your priorities in line with God’s.
Acts 20:35 – I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak and to remember the words of the Lords Jesus, how he said, it is more blessed to give than to receive.
People often say "I don’t have so I can’t give" but the reason why people don’t have is because they don’t give.
Prov.11:24-25 – There is that scattereth and yet increaseth and there is that withholdeth more than is meat but it tendeth to poverty.
The liberal soul shall be made fat and he that watereth shall be watered also himself.
People also have different reasons why they don’t want to give; some say it is because the money is not enough, some say I don’t want anybody to cheat me. Some don’t want to give because they think whatever they give to God is spent (gone forever) they have not really discover that you don’t spend money in God because you can’t buy any aspect of his grace. So when you give to God, the money is not spent (not gone) it is invested, it is banked, it is in your account. Phil.4:17 – Not because I desire a gift but I desire fruit that may abound to your account (interest that will yield to your account).
There is need, for enough information to have conviction about giving.
REASONS WHY IT IS BETTER TO GIVE
(1)It is giving that will start the process of your receiving. It is planting that comes before harvest. Farmers cannot say they didn’t sow because there is no seed to sow. Lk.6:38, Gal.6:7. Your receiving in life is a direct reflection of your giving.
(2)Giving connects you to divine source of blessings and makes you a blessing. Prov. 3:9, Eccl.11:1
(3)Every seed you sow will bring multiple harvests. Gen.6:9. IICor.9:6
(4)Our income as Christians is determined by our giving (nothing like fixed income) Gal. 6:9, IICor. 9:6.
(5)A day will come in your future that your giving will attract divine visitation and give you a miracle. Act 10:1-4, Ps 20:1-4.

SUNDAY SCHOOL:                   YOUR LIGHT HAS COME
In science, phototropism explains that every living thing travels towards the light. God created everyman originally to desire the best and travel toward light.
The life and the light of the word of God is all that we need. When that light shines, everything in our lives takes its rightful place. But if it is darkness that occupies the position of light in a person's life, things can never work well. With darkness, there will be confusion, hopelessness, and discouragement; no matter your status you will feel unfulfilled and unhappy.
When you become a child of God by being born again, you will experience an unexplainable peace. As you continue to increase in the knowledge of God’s word, you will feel fulfilled and your confidence increases; this will help your faith and you will have quick answers to your prayers.
Light was so important that the first thing God created was light (Gen.1:3).
NOTE THE FOLLOWING
(1)Ps.27:1   – The Lord is the only light that you have, you will walk into darkness without him.
(2)Lk.1 :79   – Jesus came to give light to us that are seated in darkness.
(3) Is. 60:20  – The Lord shall be your light forever.
(4)Eccl. 11:7  – The light is sweet, far better than darkness.
(5)II Cor. 4:4  – The Gospel we preach is light(it brings illumination and understanding).
TO WALK IN THE LIGHT:
(1) Embrace and be married to the word of God. Ps. 119:105, Ps.119:130
(2) Arise, Awake, be strong, be encouraged, Take steps, re-arrange your life, start to walk according to the word of God. Is.60:1-2, Eph. 5:14.
(3) If you will allow the light to shine in your life, darkness can never prevail. Jn. 1:1-5, Is.60:20, Ps.84:11.
(4) Take your place as light, and dominate every situation with boldness and confidence. Mt.5:14, Mt. 5:16.
(5) Don’t compromise or corrupt your power as light. Eph.5;8, Lk. 11:35.

SUNDAY SCHOOL:         BENEFITS OF BEING DEDICATED TO GOD
Dan. 1:1-6 – Whatever or whoever is dedicated to God attracts God’s attention every time.
God himself takes responsibility in watching over such things that are dedicated to him. In the scripture above, God did not bother himself about the king, his wives, his concubines and other friends as they were drinking frivolously. He didn’t border himself about their immoral attitudes because that was what they wanted so far, they know their boundaries. God didn’t bother about the type of vessel they were using or even the type of drink they were taking.
But the moment they demanded for what was dedicated to God, The Bible said that it was that same hour that the king and his household drank wine that they saw the handwriting on the wall.
This is a clear proof that if you will dedicate yourself to God. He will watch over you, be jealous over you and fight for you.
(1)The Lord watches over his own. IChron. 16:9 , Mathew 28:20.
(2)He takes over their battle. Lk. 18:7-8 , Deut. 20:4
(3)He stays with them in trouble and guides them out of it. Ps. 91:14-15,  Ps.23:4 , Is. 43:1-4.
(4)He has great plans of reward and blessings for the dedicated ones. Is.1:19-20, Ps. 1:3, Job. 36:11.
(5)He desires that the committed ones bear fruit for His kingdom. Acts. 1:8, Mt. 28:20, Jn. 15:16, Prov. 11:30.

SUNDAY SCHOOL:               KNOWING THE WAYS OF GOD
We may know the acts of God (miracles, signs and wonders) but if we don’t know His ways, we can’t  go far with him talk less of  being with him eternally.
Ps.103:7- He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel.
God wants you to also know his ways. Though our knowledge of God begins at new birth (being born-again), the knowledge of his ways is progressive. Anyone who is not born-again is far from knowing God.
The knowledge of the ways of God start from being born again; as it continues, we will soon see the fruits and evidences of salvation manifesting in such lives.
EVIDENCE OF THE KNOWLEDGE OF HIS WAYS
(1) DOING THE WORD: He may not know the whole Bible but he/she knows, That a man knows the Bible does not mean that he does the word. Ja.1:22-25 , Act.1:1.
(2) TO KNOW GOD’S WAY IS TO KNOW HIS PRINCIPLES AND PATTERNS: God’s methods are not always the same but his principles are the same. Heb. 3:7-11, Ex. 33:13-14.
(3) To know the ways of God is to be fully aware of his goodness, and severity, which is the fearful side of him. To really know the LORD is to know that the same person who is a Lamb is also a Lion. IICor. 5:10-11, ICor. 10:1.12, Heb. 12:28-29.
(4)Evidence of the knowledge of God is in keeping of his covenants. Don’t allow sin and the enemy to corrupt you because you are in covenant with him. Dan. 11:32, Ps.74:20, Ps. 78:9-10.
(5)The man who knows His ways will fear Him and have holy reverence for Him.
The perspective of king David changed when he counted Israel, and the Lord destroyed several thousands of people because of his act of disobedience. He could not come near the ark of God when he saw the ark kill somebody (he saw the other side of the ark). Knowing the ways of God is knowing his character so well that even though he is merciful, you don’t take him for granted. IChron. 28:9 , Is.1:19-20.

SUNDAY SCHOOL:       THE BENEFITS OF YOUR LOVE FOR GOD
Jesus told somebody that was led to see the vision of hell, that the people in hell don’t love him that was why they went to hell and there was nothing he could do to help them, because he doesn’t want people who will not love him in his kingdom. Likewise, we are not ready to accommodate under our roof anyone who hates us.
Our love for God is the secret of our victory and success in this life. As humans, we are willing to do our best, give our best, or can even fight for anyone that we really love in this life. The fulfilment of all the promises of God for our lives depends on our love and obedience to his Word.
Ps. 91 :14-16 - Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him, I will set him on high because he hath known my name. He shall call upon me and I will answer him, I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honour him. With long life will I will I satisfy him and shew him my salvation.
From the scriptural passage above, take note of the 7-fold blessings for those who love him and are zealous after him. Seven is the number of perfection, it is a sign of perfect blessings for those that love him and are committed to him.
(1).......therefore will I deliver him
(2)I will set him on high.
(3)He shall call upon me and I will answer him
(4) I will be with him in trouble
(5)I will deliver him  and honour him
(6) With long life will I satisfy him
(7)And shew him my salvation
In view of the above commitments of God towards you,
LET US CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING
(1)Your enemies may say what they like or even curse you, but they don’t have the final say. Prov.26:2, Num. 23:8, 23-24
(2)Others fight and even kill for their gods but our God is the One to fight for us. Ex.14:14,  Deut. 20:4.
(3)You must act on your faith, it is the action on your faith that will give you victory. If you don’t take responsibility, you will become a liability.James.2:17, 20; 2:14.
(4)God has no beginning and no end. Whatever that begins must have an end. Any problem or trouble that comes your way has expiry date. Prov.23:18, Eccl. 7:8. Job 8:7, Job 28:3.
(5)If you don’t protest, the devil will hold you forever. Exercise your authority and dominion according to the word of God. Eph.6:10, Lk.10:19, Mt.18:18-20, Jn. 14:14.

SUNDAY SCHOOL:             BLESSED TO BE A BLESSING
The value you place on something or someone will determine what you give to it. God gave us Jesus, His best because of the value He placed on us. Whatever proceeds from you to God is the value you place on Him. 1Sam. 2:3, 30.

The Holy spirit, the blood and the Word of God were given to us by God to empower us, cleanse us, impart knowledge to us, to change and make us live like God.

If the eyes of our imaginations are opened, can we imagine what our lives will look like if God did not give us Jesus, the Holy spirit, the blood and the word of God?

The sun reflects its light to the moon; the moon receives the light and reflects it to the earth. The rain also falls to the earth and uses it to bless vegetations and replenish creatures. In the same way, God doesn’t want us to receive his grace in vain. The reason why God releases and keeps releasing his blessing into your life big or small is to make you a blessing. The reason why you are delivered is that you might partake in the process of delivering others. The purpose of your healthy living is to heal others. Mk.16:17-18.

The more you give, the more you receive from God. It is when God can trust you that he will bless you more.

NOTE THE FOLLOWING

(1)The purpose for every blessing is to make the receiver a blessing. Gen. 12:2-3, Gen. 1:16-18.

(2)You are delivered to deliver. Lk. 1 74,77,79, Mk. 5:18-21

(3)You are healed to be a healer or serve the purpose for the healing of others. Is. 61:1-2, Lk.4:18-22.

(4)The reason why God anointed you is to preach and convert others.  Is.61:1-2, Lk.4:18-22.

(5)The grace of God upon your life was meant to be manifested and not to be frustrated. IICor. 6:1; Gal. 2:21.

(6)Don’t look back, keep on going with God.Phil.3:12-16,, Phil.4:9.

(7)Our profiting and our glory will show as we keep reconciling the world to Christ. IIcor. 5:17-18,  IITim. 2:11-12, Itim. 4:15-16.
CONFESSION OF THE WORD OF GOD
I that dwell in the secret place of the most high, I abide under the shadow of the Almighty, I say of the Lord, he is my refuge and my fortress, my God in him I trust.
Surely, God has delivered me from the snare of the fowler and from the noisome pestilence.
He has covered me with his feathers and under his wings I trust, his truth is my shield and buckler. I shall not be afraid for the terror by night nor for the arrow that flies by day. Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
A thousand shall fall at my side and ten thousand at my right hand but it shall not come near me. I shall not fall. I shall not fail.

Only with my eyes I behold and see the reward of the wicked, because I have made the Lord my refuge even the most high my habitation.
No evil will befall me neither shall any plague come near my dwelling. For he has give his angels charge over me to keep me in all my ways. They bear me up in their hand, lest I dash my foot against a stone. I thread upon the lion and adder, the young lion and the dragon I trample under my feet.
Because I have set my love upon God, He has delivered me from powers of darkness and he has translated me into the kingdom of his dear son. God has delivered me from shame and reproach. God has delivered me from sickness, God has delivered me from poverty, God has delivered me from my family curse, God has delivered me from failure, God has delivered me from lack of money. My God has set me on high; he has made me the head and not the tail. I am above only and never be below.
Because I know the name of Jesus, whenever I called upon God he answers me.
God has delivered me from trouble, God has delivered me from terror, God has delivered me from oppression, God has delivered me from depression. God has put his honour on me. He has covered me with his glory. I am abundantly blessed.
With long life God satisfies me and shows me his salvation. I shall not die; I shall live to declare the Glory of God.

SUNDAY SCHOOL:              BENEFITS  OF A PRAYER LIFE
Ps. 74:20- Have respect unto the covenant, for the dark places of the earth are full of the habitations of cruelty.
Prayer is so important in every believer’s life that we cannot live without it on daily basis, just as we cannot live without water.
A prayerless Christian is a powerless Christian; a powerless Christian cannot make progress in life and destiny because it takes power to make progress physically and spiritually.
A Christian that is not praying is like a well without water, like an automobile without fuel or like a fruitless tree.
Prayer is what pushes back the forces of evil from operating against a believer’s life. When you pray, you are calling for heaven’s intervention in the affairs of your life. You enlist the holy angels to take the place of evil spirits, demons and devils in everything that concerns you.
When you pray, you behave like a child stretching his or her hand to the father or mother for lifting. Your prayers to the only living God will attract the light of God’s glory to take over the dark and confused areas of your life. Prayers will bring rain upon the barren deserts of your life. The mighty hand of God will make a way, doors that have been closed shall be opened. Things that are difficult will become easy and, the impossible becomes possible. God will take over your struggles and fight for you.
NOTE THE FOLLOWING
(1)Prayer will give you access to divine secrets. Jer. 33:3, Ps.25:14, Ps. 27:4
(2)Prayer will give you victory over battles of life. Mt.18:18, Exo. 14:14, Jn. 14:14.
(3)Prayers will deliver to you the blessings and the destiny that heaven planned for you. Jer. 29:11-13, Mt.7:7-8.
(4)Prayer will give you victory over the temptations to sin on daily basis. Gal. 5:16-17, Rm. 8:1-2.
(5)Prayers will open you to favour that you are not qualified for. Ps. 107:11-13, Jn. 14:13-14.
(6)Your prayer will make you a blessing not a burden, a pillar and not a caterpillar. Gen.18:23-32, IIChron. 7:14.
(7)Prayer will give you peace, rest and deliver you from every trouble of life.Ps.34:19, Jn.14:27.
NOTE: You cannot live a life of effective prayer and intercession without the help of the Holy spirit. Rm.8:26, Zech. 4:6. We mention what we know we wanted to God in our human language but the Holy spirit helps us to pray to God about things we do not know. Remember that what we do not know are more than what we know. So we must be baptized in the Holy spirit.

SUNDAY SCHOOL:               GIVING IS LIVING
Everything God created, He created for a specific purpose, the sun to be the light for day, the moon to be light in the night, the darkness to give man, animals and birds the sign to rest from their daily activities because of the limitation of their natural strength. The vegetation to provide food for man and animals; the cloud is meant for signs and seasons.
Gen. 1:28 - God blessed them and God said unto them, Be fruitful and multiply and replenish the earth and subdue it and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the fowl of the air and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
Man was to produce man, animals to produce animals, fish to produce fish. No one can be fruitful unless he is seedful and no one can multiply until he is fruitful.
All the above are the process of natural blessings, fruitfulness and multiplication naturally.
As it is in the physical, God has commanded his blessings upon you spiritually.
Eph.1:3 - Blessed be the God and father of our Lord Jesus Christ who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ.
In the things of the spirit also, the manifestation of spiritual blessings begins from sowing to the realm of the spirit. The sign that you are physically living is that you are giving out from what is made to produce. The sign that you are living spiritually also is that you are positively affecting where you are spiritually by giving from what you have as your seed. This will definitely bear fruit as a reward for the seed you sowed, and as it continues, it brings forth multiplication.
Before God multiplies you, he will see your seed.
THE BENEFITS OF MAKING GIVING A LIVING
(1)Your seed will break the siege of your enemy.Gen.22:15-17, Mal.3:1012, Gen.14:20.
(2)Your seed will open you to the realm of abundance if you make sowing a habit.               Ps.126:5-6, Lk6:38, Prov.3:9-10.
(3)Your giving will make impossibilities possible and make difficult things easy. Acts10:3-5,       IIKgs.4:8-17.
(4)Your heart of giving or your seed can make you dynamic and irreplaceable, standout from others.IISam.7:1-2,15,IIChron.1:6-7,12,1.
(5)The seed you sow and your heart of giving will be a memorial in the heart of God, he will remember you in the day of trouble. Ps.20:1-4, Ps.136:23-24 ,Acts10:3-5.
NOTE: Your relevance begins, when you start to fulfill the purpose of God for your life by being a blessing to your generation, especially blessing the work of GOD. When you become a partner with God, He bless you in return at the measure of your giving to his work.
A selfish and self-centred man will eventually end in poverty. Prov.11:24-25- There is he that scattereth  and yet increaseth and there is he that witholdeth more than is meet but it tendeth to poverty. The liberal soul shall be made fat and he that watereth shall be watered also himself.

CONFESSION OF GOD's WORD- I that dwell in the secret place of the most high, I abide under the shadow of the Almighty, I say of the Lord, he is my refuge and my fortress, my God in him I trust.

God has delivered me from lack of money.

SUNDAY SCHOOL:         THE POWER IN THE BLOOD OF JESUS
Blood is the secret behind every spiritual power. The blood of Jesus is the blood of God himself; remember the Virgin Mary was conceived by the spirit of God without having sex with any man -Mathew 1:18.
The life of the fresh is in its blood, Lev.17:11.
Do you know any blood that is as powerful as the blood of Jesus? God has made us an overcomer over every other powers through the power in the blood of Jesus, Rev.12:11. The power of the blood of Jesus is the very raw power of God himself. Any battle that your enemy seems to have gained upper hand in any area of your life can be turned around immediately you switch to invoke the power of the blood of Jesus Christ against the enemy. We are not victims of the attacks of the wicked, we are to take advantage of the blood of Jesus Christ and keep celebrating our victory over our adversaries.
WHAT THE BLOOD OF JESUS DOES FOR US
(1)The blood of Jesus speaks on our behalf as our advocate. 1Jn.5:8, Heb..12:24.
(2)We are redeemed back to God by the blood of Jesus. 1Pt.1:!8-19, Col.1:14, Eph.1:7.
(3)We have peace with God through the blood of Jesus.Col.1:20.
(4)We are justified by the blood of Jesus. Romans 5:9.
(5)We have overcome by the blood of Jesus. Rev. 12:11.
(6)We are cleansed by the blood of Jesus. 1Jn. 1:7.
(7)We are in covenant with God by the blood of Jesus. Heb. 13:20, Heb.10:29.
(8)Angels sprinkle the blood on us when we gather together in God’s presence. Heb. 12:24.

SUNDAY SCHOOL:  ACCESS TO THE ANOINTING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
The anointing is the burden-removing, and yoke-destroying power of God. It is what God has prepared by the Holy Spirit for born-again believers so we can live a beautiful, victorious and successful life every day.
God in the beginning said he wants man to live in dominion over all other creatures.
Gen.1:26- And God said let us make man in our image after our likeness and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the  cattle and over all the earth and fowl of the air and over every creeping thing  that creepeth upon the earth.
The anointing is the weapon of dominion, believers have the anointing upon their lives in different measures, and your anointing can keep increasing or decreasing depending on what you do with the present measure in your life.
Every believer has some measure of the anointing in their lives but the people who have the anointing in greater measure are those that are actively involved in the work of the progress of the kingdom of God. Jn.12:26. There are different types and measures of the anointing of the Holy spirit for different functions and different offices in the kingdom of God. The anointing, apart from its being an instrument of dominion, is also a defence to kingdom service holders.

LETS CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING
(1)The first access to the anointing in a believer's life is Holiness and righteousness. Ps. 45:7-8, Dan.1:9-10, Is.1:19-20. No alternative to the life of obedience.
(2)Fasting and prayers is the second major access to the anointing of the Holy Spirit. Lk.3:21-22,  Lk.4:1-2,  Ja.5:16.
(3)Your act of generosity towards the kingdom of God will also give you access to the anointing.  Prov.3:9-10,  Mal.3:10-12.
(4)Unity is another powerful access to the anointing. Ps.133:!-3, Act 4:31-34.
(5)The anointing will give you victory over every battle of life. Ps.105:14-15, Ps.34:18-20, Ps.92:10-15.
(6)The anointing will give you uncommon favour. Neh.1:2-4, Neh.2:1-8, Dan.6:3.
(7)Don’t allow your anointing to be defiled  or corrupted.  ICor.6:15-20, IICor.6:14-18.

SUNDAY SCHOOL:  NO INFORMATION, NO WISDOM, WISDOM BRINGS SUCCESS
Gen.1:26- And God said let us make man in our image, after our likeness and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the fowl of the air and over the cattle and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

You began as a thought in the mind of God, then you were spoken about before you were created by God himself. You were first an intangible before you became a tangible being. Don’t think your success as tangible, it is how successful you are in the realm of invisible and intangible that will determine what you have in the visible and the tangible.
Let us begin to create our success and prosperity from the inside out. Lack of information brings deformation. Hosea 4:6. When you lack information, you will empower your enemy.
The part of God that an average African man has fallen in love with is the mysterious part of God. The part that doesn’t exact your thinking and planning; the part that is called miracle, where you have no part to play. An average African only reads for exams. Our definition of work is physical exaction, but the most important work is mental work. Physical works are meant to be done after mental work, so it can yield great and excellent result.
CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING
(1)Physical exaction without mental work is the labour of a fool. Eccl. 10:10, Eccl. 10:15, Prov. 2:2-7
NOTE: Information is the foundation for transformation.
(2)Man’s existence  will  only  experience excellence when he is connected to the word of God.   Deut.8:3, IPt 2:2, Ikgs 19:7.
(3)If you  want the quality of your life to improve, you must value information. II Tim. 2:15, Prov. 1:5, Dan.9:2
(4)Lack of information brings lack of decision because there will be confusions, Ja.1:5-7, Rev. 3:14-15.
(5)Success is a matter of choices not chances. Deut.30:19-30, Josh.1:8, Is.1:19-20.
NOTE: If you don’t make decision, you will be a victim of the decisions of others. Get clear information to make correct decision. Confusion is a result of being in the dark. Darkness means lack of information while enlightenment is a result of full information. There was an age  that was referred to as dark age, but the present age is referred to as information age.

SUNDAY SCHOOL:  STRENGTH AND EXPLOITS THROUGH FAITH

Daniel. 11:32- And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries but the people that do know their God shall be strong and do great exploits.

It is only those who are strong that can do exploits. The principle of life is based on sowing and reaping. If you sow to your life what will make you weak spiritually or physically, it will affect the level of your ability to strive to possess your possessions. But in wisdom, if you settle down and strategically feed yourself with the Word of God the way you feed on physical natural food, you will be stronger than your enemy and you will be able to violently take what rightfully belongs to you.

Gal.6:7- Be not deceived, God is not mocked, for whatever a man soweth that shall he also reap.

The word of God will produce faith for exploits, the more of the word of God you have inside of you, the more knowledge, boldness and faith you will have. The word of God is the greatest need of our generation. The word of God will deliver to you everything you need to live a balanced life.

SEVEN THINGS YOU MUST DO WITH THE WORD OF GOD

(1)You must hear it constantly, what you hear will affect you for good or bad. Rm.10:17, Prov.4:20.

(2)You must read it, Don’t be lazy in reading. Rev.1:3, Prov.4:25.

(3)You must study it. Studying is a process of searching, comparing and asking questions IITim.2:15, Matt.7:8.

(4)You must meditate on it, replace negative and discouraging thoughts with the thoughts of the scriptures. Josh.1:8,  ITim.4:15.

(5)Keep the word of God in the depth of your heart. Prov.4:21, Col.3:16.

(6)Practise it and act on it daily, it will make you happy as they come to pass. Jn.13:17, Act1:1.
(7)You must share the word of God with others. IITim. 2:2, Mk.16:!5, Jn.14:21.

SUNDAY SCHOOL:         DELIVERANCE FROM UNPROFITABLE SLEEP

Sleep was naturally planted by God into human body to give hum refreshment and rest of mind. Eccl. 5:12.

Naturally, when a man loses the ability to sleep, he can develop headache or high blood pressure which indicates that his health is in trouble; if he doesn’t sleep for many days, he may lose his mind, which may result in mental problem.

Because of the limitation of the natural man, God commanded him to work for six days and rest the seventh day. Anytime this command of rest is despised, man can pay dearly for it. No wonder an adage says, you cannot cheat nature.

Sleep sometimes serves as a therapy, it brings recuperation when the body gets tired.   A few minutes nap could bring a deep refreshing. Jn.11:12.

With all the blessings that God made sleep to be, Man has abused it and the devil uses it to oppress and attack people, hinder their progress and corrupt their destinies and mess up many lives. Matt.13:25.

THREE MAJOR TYPES OF SLEEP

(1)Wilful Natural sleep. Ps.127:2, Ps.4:8.

(2)Demonic sleep of oppression. Ithess.5:6, Matt.13:25.

(3)Divine sleep of purpose. Gen. 2:21, Gen.15:12, Dan.10:9
CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING ABOUT SLEEP
(1)God commanded and warned us against sleep. Eph.5:14, Rm.13:11, Is.52:1
(2)Personal decision and determination against sleep. Ps.57:8, Ps.17:15.
(3)The call to Arise is a call to a new assignments and new blessings. Acts 8:26, Matt.2:13, Act.11:7-9.
(4)Jesus called those who were dead back to life by commanding them to arise, making sleep to be close to death. Mk 5:41, Lk.7:14-15.
(5)Some of the troubles that sleep can cause to one's life. Prov. 24:33, Prov.6:4, Matt.13:25.
Medically, six to eight hours of sleep is recommended for healthy living. But God expects us to plan our daily schedule and create time for our relationship with him either  day or  night. He also expects us to develop an habit of strength, awakening and alertness when necessary so that our adversary will not take advantage of our too much sleep to sow tares in our lives. Rev. 3:16.

SUNDAY SCHOOL:      UNDERSTANDING  YOUR  POSITION  IN  CHRIST

The position of someone who has a new birth in the realm of the spirit is awesome, his dominion is great.

The hierarchy of every being in the realm of the spirit before the death and the resurrection of Jesus Christ was as follows: GOD – ANGELS – SATAN – DEMONS – MAN.

But after that great sacrifice of our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary on behalf of humanity, the hierarchy changed, so the new hierarchy was as follows: MAN – ANGELS –SATAN – DEMONS.

Therefore, in this dispensation, God expects the man to take his rightful position and partner with God to live like king that he was meant to be as the son of the King of Glory. So when the man takes control, God is in control. But if the man will not take control, God is not in control then the enemy takes control.

Whatever the man is able to achieve will depend on his measure of faith, knowledge and seriousness in partnering with God. So, the man is the major determinant of whatever happens to him, around him or for him either good or bad, not the unwillingness of God or the wickedness of the devil henceforth. Rm8:38-39, ICor.3:21-23.

CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING ADVANTAGE OF YOUR POSITION

(1)Because you are born-again, spiritually your life has changed. IIcor.5:!7, Col,1:13, Jn.3:18.

(2)As your life has changed spiritually, you are to take responsibility to change your mind. Rm.12:1-2, Phil.2:3-5, ICor.2:16.

(3)You are the one that will determine the measure of mercy you will receive from God. Ps. 18:25, Prov.3:3-4, Lk.6:36.
(4)You are the one that will determine the measure of forgiveness you are going to receive from God. Mk.11:25-26, Lk.6:37.
(5)You are the one that will determine the measure of blessings you are going to receive from God.Lk.6:38, Gal.6:7, Act 20:35.
(6)You are the one that will determine the measure of your victory. Rm.10:9-11, Ps.91:1-2, Ps.107:2.
(7)You are the one that will determine if you will make heaven. Rev.21:7-8, Gal.5:19,      Rev.22:11-14.
NOTE – The Devil is no more in control of your life and destiny. You are now in control and you are the one that will put God in control by what you do and how you practise your Christianity.
Remember that your lukewarmness can bring the devil back in control

SUNDAY SCHOOL:  UNDERSTANDING  YOUR  POSITION  IN  CHRIST (II)

Jn. 4:23-24 - But the hour cometh and now is when the true worshippers shall worship the father in SPIRIT and TRUTH. For the father seeketh such to worship him.

God is a spirit and they that worship him must worship him in SPIRIT and in TRUTH. The days that we are in are significant in history of the world and in the history of the church. Many unbelievable things are happening everyday in the world and in the church. We need to be alert and open ours eyes wide. Many churches are in  existence that are not of God at all.

In the U.K, there is a Nude church,  in the U.S.A, there is a church of Satan, in our neighbourhood, there are many occultic, demonic, uniform, water and material churches. The churches that will mock being born again and laugh at Holy ghost baptism.

Many of this churches are churches of miracles, signs, wonders and prophetic churches that are harvesting the souls of human  beings to hell fire.

Don’t be one of the ignorant fellows that will say I am not against any church, I can worship in any church, so long as they are calling the name of Jesus. Open your eyes before they initiate you to occultism, idolatry, before your destiny, virtue is stolen or before your glory is exchanged.

FIVE WAYS TO KNOW A TRUE CHURCH

(1)A true church of Christ is built on the Word of God(rock) not on water, oil, handkerchief, candle, incense, perfume or any kind of materials. Heb.4:12, Act19:20, Josh.1:8.

(2)A true church of Christ allows the move of the Holy spirit in the lives of all its members, not only in Pastors and Prophets. Mk.16:17, Acts2:38-39, Rm.8:14.

(3)A true Church of Christ preaches and teaches faith in God and His Word until believers grow to maturity and dominion. Gal.4:1-3, 2Pet.3:18, Eph.4:11-14.
(4)A true member of the Church of Christ is not desperate to receive miracles by ungodly and unrighteous means, he is taught to trust and wait on God. Ps.27:14, Ps.34:4-6, Is.40:31.
(5)The true members of the Church of Christ are pure in their hearts and their outlooks. IPt.1:14-16, Prov.7:!0, Gen.35:34.
NOTE: A mad man possessed by evil spirit needs no introduction, so also is a man possessed truly  with the spirit of God.

SUNDAY SCHOOL:  GOD ALWAYS RESERVE THE BEST FOR THE LAST
Ps 103:7: He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel.
One of the traditional ways God does things is to always reserve the best for the last. (Job 8:7). Because the devil had a glimpse to some of the ways God does things and being an arch enemy of humanity, he also increases the intensity of his attacks at the last period of time.(IITim. 3:1-5).
It is wise for every believer that finds out this secrete to also increase their zeal, dedication, obedience, and prayers at such period of time. The time you find out that God releases more miraculous blessings and the devil increases his attacks, that is the period you should increase your prayers.
December being the last month of every year is the month that has more death tolls, more numbers of trafficking, more people pack to their new houses, more purchase of new things, more ceremonies but much more, it is the month that also records more fasting and prayers all over the world.
CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING ABOUT THE BEST FOR THE LAST
(1) The Glory of the latter is always greater than the former.  Haggi 2:89, I:ICor. 3:18.
(2)It is the plan God had for man to always put the best for the last.  Job. 8:7, Gen.21:1-6.
(3)God had put the best of every year to the last month of every year.  Ps.65:9-13, Jer.29:11-13.
(4)Jesus reserves the best for the last.  Jn.2:9-10, ICor.15:51-58.
(5)It is the responsibility of every believer to pray to bring to manifestation the good that God has put in place and pray off  the things that Satan has purposed to do in their lives.    Jn.14:13-14, Jn.15:7, Ja.5:15-16.
NOTE: What will you do about our twelve days annual fasting and prayers? Which will hold for the first two weeks of December. If you want things to change, it must begin with you. You cannot continue to do things the same way and expect things to happen in a different way.

SUNDAY SCHOOL:               HINDRANCES TO PRAYERS

The enemy of your soul doesn’t want your prayers to be answered, he doesn’t want your heart desires to be granted. In fact, he doesn’t want you to conquer spiritual battles when they rage against you.

Therefore, he wants to keep you busy, distract you, or hinder you from praying and sometimes when you pray, he wants to do everything possible to stop your prayers from being answered.

Some Christians have lost their zeal for prayers. Some that pray are not receiving answers. Some are living their lives the way they want it contrary to the way God commanded, but they are looking for somebody that will be praying for them. Some are so lazy that they don’t even believe if they pray that God can answer; they desire a prophet or prophetess that will prophesy what is against the doctrine of new testament Christianity.

Only few Christians are learning every day to know more about God, praying to God and learning how to receive divine directions from God and answers to their prayers. They believe and trust God enough that they are ready to wait on God until they get their heart desires granted. Which of these categories do you belong?

BELOW ARE SOME HINDRANCES TO BELIEVERS' PRAYERS

(1)Doubt  and unbelief: some people pray but set for themselves alternatives. Ja.1:6-8,    Ja.2:17-22.

(2)Disobedience and unholy living. Is.1:19-20, Ob.1:17.

(3)Speaking contrary to what you requested in your prayers.  Ps.34:12-13, Ja.1:26, Num.14:28.
(4)Ungrateful heart and murmuring. Rm.4:20-21, ICor.10:10-11, Heb.13:15.
(5)Bitterness, unforgiveness and malice.  Mk.11: 25-26, Eph.4:30-32.
(6)Pride and arrogance.  Ja.4:6, IPt.5:6-7.
(7)Marital crisis and division. Eph.5:21-25, IPt.3:7-8.

SUNDAY SCHOOL:  UNDERSTANDING THE CORRECT PORTRAIT OF GOD

Different churches and people in our generation have painted God differently due to their experiences and the different ways they are being taught contrary to the correct way in which the Bible portrays God.

Some paint God as one that does not hate sin, because he forgives sins, so if you truly belong to him, you can keep on sinning while he keep on forgiving till eternity.

Some paint God as father Christmas, the distributor of gifts to everyone, everywhere, anyhow either you love him or not, they lack the understanding of true prosperity forgetting to remember the word of our Lord Jesus that says "the life of a man is not in the abundance of what he possesses".

Some paint God as one of the objects you can worship with others, you can be in cult and still be born again, you can be a witch, a witch doctor and still be born again, you can be a born again believer and still do charm or use charm or activities of false prophets to solve your personal problems; they also forget the Bible says that  God is a jealous God, and his glory he will not share with another.

Some paint the portrait of God by taking Christianity to be one of those religions (Hindus, Muslims, traditional religion and Christianity) forgetting that Christianity is acts of the Holy Spirit, strict obedience to the Word of God and personal relationship with God.

CORRECT PORTRAIT OF GOD

(1)The Word of God is God. Jn.1:1-3, Heb.4:12, love, zeal, hunger and obedience to the word of God is true Christianity.

(2)God is invisible and eternal. The new testament Christians are not to worship God with physical or material things, water or candles.  Jn.4:22-24, Mk.16:17.

(3)Churches and pastors may lower the standard of righteousness but God remains the same. Mal.3:6, Ob.1:17, Heb.13:8.
(4)To get serious with God, seek knowledge, make some decisions and get completely determined. Mt.11:12, IIPt. 1:2-4.
(5)God is love not lawless, Is.1:19-20, IJn.5:17, IJn.3:8.
(6)Don’t use the eye of another person to see the Bible, use your own eyes. IITim.2:15,   Josh.1:6-8.
(7)God is the most high, the Almighty, the maker and owner of heaven and earth, our Lord. Is.9:6, Gen.17:1-3.

CONFESSION  OF  THE WORD  OF  GOD (RM.10:9-10)

I believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God. I believe that my sins are forgiven, I believe that Jesus Christ has redeemed me from every curse, being made curse for me as it is written cursed is everyone that hangs on the tree. The blessings of Abraham are mine.

I am strong in the Lord and the power of his might, the Lord is the strength of my life. I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me. My  health is restored, Jesus Christ my Lord has carried my sickness in his own body on the cross. I am blessed , I cannot be cursed, I am blessed beyond the curse.

Sin shall not have dominion over me, there is therefore no condemnation for me that is in Christ Jesus. I walk not after the flesh but after the spirit. For the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. I am like a tree planted by the rivers of living water, whatsoever I do shall prosper. God has made all grace abound toward me, the grace of God is sufficient for me, I bound in every good thing. The Glory of God is my covering. I am covered by the blood of Jesus, the Lord is with me like a mighty warrior, the Lord of host is fighting for me, the Lord of host is my defence. No weapon formed against me shall prosper. No evil shall befall me and my family.

Every satanic and demonic agenda for my life shall not prosper. God has delivered me from powers of darkness and he has translated me into the kingdom of his own dear son. I am rich, worthy is the lamb that was slain to receive riches for me. I shall not lack in any good thing. I shall not lack in money. I am baptised in the holy spirit, I am possess with the spirit of obedience, I am completely delivered from the spirit of disobedience. Jesus Christ is my Lord and my Saviour.

I shall not die, I shall live to declare the Glory of God. It is well with my soul.

SUNDAY SCHOOL:       WATCHFULNESS OF BELIEVERS IN THE LAST DAYS
Lk.21:36 – Watch ye therefore and pray always that ye may be accounted worthy to ESCAPE all these things that shall come to pass and to stand before the son of man.
To be watchful is to be sensitive and alert, to be well informed, highly inspired, also to be calculative and strategic in observations and actions physically and spiritually on daily basis.
The clarion call of Jesus Christ to all believers to be watchful and prayerful in this last days goes beyond corporate actions, it should be on personal thoughts, plans, decisions and determination to ESCAPE the evil that will befall this world and the people in it very soon.
Is.60:2A Behold darkness shall cover the earth and gross darkness the people. Remember Isaiah prophesied the birth of Jesus Christ the Messiah in Is.9:6-7 and we saw how it came to pass, this is the proof that Is. 60:2 is coming to pass.
The darkness that Isaiah spoke about is deeper and darker than the darkness of the night, he is talking about increase in wickedness and pressures of sin.
We want to search through the help of the Holy Spirit, how to be watchful and to be alert to escape the evil of this age.
CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING
(1)Prayer will inspire you to be sensitive to watch. IPt.4:7, Lk.21:36, Mk.13:33:37.
(2)As you daily put your faith in practice, it will help your watchfulness. ICor.16:13, IJn.5:4, Heb.11:6.
(3)Be watchful in thanksgiving. You can’t thank God enough, talk less of thanking Him too much. Col.4:2, IThess. 5:18, Rm. 4:20.
(4)The wicked ones are also watchful on the righteous ones. Ps.37:32, Mt.24:43, Prov.8:34.
(5)This watchfulness demands soberness, quietness, seriousness and zeal. IThess.5:6, IITim.4:5, Rev.16:15.
(6)We need to persevere and be patient. Rev.3:2, Eph.6:18, Ps.27:4.
The call by Jesus for the disciples to watch is for everyone today. Mt.26:40, IICor. 11:27, Rev.3:2

SUNDAY SCHOOL:             HOW TO BE FREE FROM DISCOURAGEMENT

Everyone will experience the attack of discouragement at one time or the other. One may be discouraged if loved ones misbehave, one may be discouraged if there is no money, one may be discouraged if prayer seems unanswered and one may be discouraged when things are not changing for good and one doesn’t know what else to do especially when you seem to have done all that you know to do.

The basic truth is that every discouragement is from the devil and it operates through the state of your mind. At the time of discouragement, it is the truth you know that will set you free(Jn.8:32).

If you will not learn how to manage your discouragement, it can turn you to a backslider, and every time you respond to your discouragement, you will definitely sin against God. You may be bitter against God, speak negatively against God, serve God reluctantly or give to God grudgingly; when you do this, you will grieve the Spirit of the living God, which is the Spirit of Grace.

The devil would have succeeded in making you sad, so he will be glad and God also is sad and blessings are withdrawn.

You forget to understand that God is doing you good every minute 24/7, and the devil has made you believe that God is one of your enemies. The devil doesn’t want you to believe that he is your enemy so that you will not border to fight him because if you will fight him, you story will change(Jn.4:7)

CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING

(1)Paul did not allow his circumstance to change his attitude towards God. Act16:23-26, Rm.8:28.

(2)When Paul and Silas ought to be murmuring against God, they were singing praises to God. Acts 16:25, Rm. 4:20.

(3)Some people will expect immediate reward of their service to God and get discouraged when reverse is the case. Rm.8:32, Rev.22:12-14
(4)As you have opportunities to be discouraged by life circumstances, your attitude is a proof of what you believe. Josh.1:6-8, Jn.14:1, Heb.11:1.
(5)When things go contrary, we need to check ourselves, but sometimes it may not mean that we did something wrong. Jn.9:2-3, Act 16:6-10, 23-25.

SUNDAY SCHOOL: KNOWING YOUR POSITION IN CHRIST (IDENTITY CRISIS)

Mt. 16:13 - When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying whom do men say that I the son of man , Am?

The problem of identity has made many Christians a victim of their circumstances. Many have developed different types of complexes (inferiority complex or superiority complex). Some are busy comparing themselves with another(IICor.10:12).

In Luke15:11-24- The prodigal son lost all that he had, his condition was so terrible that he was eating with pigs because he had identity crisis. He didn’t know his position, he mingled with harlots and drunkards, his life was completely messed up until he came to himself.

The moment he came to himself, his story changed, he repented, put right the things that were wrong and recovered all that was lost.

The moment he discovered his correct identity, the process of recovery began until he recovered all.

It is the problem of identity that makes servants to ride on horses and princes walking as servants(Eccl.10:7)

Nebuchadnezzar did not know his position, he thought he must be Almighty king for his great achievements in building the great ancient Babylon until the King of kings humbled him by making him eat grass and live like animal for seven years. It was after he came to himself that he recognized that there is a King of kings, the Almighty God. Then he recovered all that he lost and enjoyed a life of dominion throughout his tenure (Dan.4:30-37).

CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING

1.The realm of the spirit doesn’t respect what you have, it only respects who you are.Act19:13, Mt.16:13
2.The life of a man is not in the abundance of what he has but in the abundance of who he is. Mt.6:33, Lk.12:15
3.Not knowing who you are will push you to start comparing yourself with others; that is the problem of inferiority or superiority complex (pride or looking down on yourself). IICor.10:12, Ps.139:14.
4.You have God as your father, you are the child of a king. Jn.1:12, IPt.2:9-11(you have a position).
5.You have a possession(you have the holy ghost and the word of God. (you have authority)Lk.10:19, Act2:38, Jn.10:34-35.
6.As someone in Christ, your position has changed, so change your ways. IICor.5:17, Is.1:19-20
7.Pursue your desires with confidence, deliberately walk away from disobedience and unbelief. Ps.37:5, Heb.11:6.

SUNDAY SCHOOL:                             GRACE FOR THE RACE

Heb.12:1: Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight and the sin which doth so easily beset us and let us run with patience THE RACE that is set before us.

There is a specific race the creator has set before every man. This race needs to be discovered; then quietly research and study it, and receive grace and the strength to run the race to the end.

The race of life has been attacked so much that no one will be able to run it to the end without the grace of God, even if it is discovered at all. Thanks be to God, there is GRACE for the RACE. Your position in Christ is above principalities and powers; you need to know it, believe it and exercise the authority that belongs to you in that position. Therefore, you need a church and a pastor that God can use to teach you this truth.

All the forces that oppress you to make you sick, weak, poor, sin, discouraged and distracted are all under your feet (under your control).

We are redeemed and Satan has no dominion over us anymore. God wants us to enjoy the reality of what is ours and keep the door closed to the devil.

CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING

1.There is  grace for every race. Jn.1:16,  IICor.9:8, IICor.9:14

2.Without the grace of God, nobody can run the race of life. Jn.15:5, Rm.9:16.

3.You will receive the grace for your race as you exercise your faith. IICor.12:9, Rm.4:16.
4.Receiving Jesus as your Lord and Saviour is receiving grace for your race if you are genuinely born again and you are a practising Christian. Jn.1:17, Rm.1:5, Act 13:43.
5.The word of God you are hearing and practising is the word of grace. Act 20:32, Jn.1:1-3.
6.If the grace of God is not in use, the word of God is not practised, forces of darkness will stop your race. Is.60:1-2, Gal.2:21, IICor.6:1.
7.The prayer for grace is the most common prayer prayed for the believers in the new testament; it has been answered in the lives of many believers and let it be manifest in your life also. Rm.16:24, ICor.16:23, Gal6:18.

SUNDAY SCHOOL:    HOW TO EXPERIENCE THE CHANGE YOU DESIRE

II Cor. 3:18: But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, ARE CHANGED into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the spirit of the Lord.

The most permanent thing in our life is CHANGE, so either we like it or not, changes occur every day. But God has not ordained our life to change for the negative. He purposed that our lives change from glory to glory. He wants us to have continuous fruitfulness, prosperity and progress.

If we keep doing things the same way or do things the way others are doing it, we would not see the changes that we desire or the changes which God ordained for us.

Changes happen in our lives when we begin to make changes around us. We cannot continue to do things the same way we have been doing them and expect things to change for good.

If we choose to do things the way they are generally done by common people, we won’t be better than the common or ordinary people; the evil that befall them can befall us; we lack when they lack, and face the same problem like them and just continue the circle of family curses and defeat.

But God is calling us to come and keep coming to behold his glory and CHANGE to the same image of dominion, power, prosperity and success like him from Glory to Glory.

If we go the way of the multitudes, we would be like them. We need to stand out so we can become outstanding.

THINGS YOU MAY NEED TO CHANGE

1.You may need to change your friends. Prov.13:20, Ps.1:1-3.
2.You may need to change your prayer life and make it deeper and longer than before. Ja.5:16-18, Lk.18:1., IThess.5:17
3.You may have to change the way you give in tithes, offerings and sacrificial offerings as your seed precedes your harvest. Ps.126:5-6, Eccl.11:1, Prov.3:9-10.
4.You may have to change your mind towards God, his word and his servants. Mal.3:6, Rm.12:1-2, Heb.13:8.
5.You may have to change your attitude towards bible study. IITim.2:15, Act 17:11, Prov.23:23.
6.You may need to change your attitude towards church attendance. Mt.11:28-30, Ja 4:6-8, Heb.10:25.
7.You may need to change the way you think about eternity. Rev.20:12, Rev.21:7-8, Rev.22:12.
CONFESSION: I that dwell in the secret place of the most high, I abide under the shadow of the Almighty, I say of the Lord, he is my refuge and my fortress, my God in him I trust.

For he has given his angels charge over me to keep me in all my ways. They bear me up in their hand, lest I dash my foot against a stone. I thread upon the lion and adder, the young lion and the dragon I trample under my feet.
Because I have set my love upon God. God has delivered me from powers of darkness and he has translated me into the kingdom of his dear son. God has delivered me from shame and reproach. God has delivered me from sickness, God has delivered me from poverty, God has delivered me from my  family curse, God has delivered me from failure, God has delivered me from lack of money. My God have set me on high, he has made me the head and not the tail. I am above only and not  below.
I shall not die, I shall live to declare the Glory of God.

SUNDAY SCHOOL:                           SECRETS OF MIGHTY MEN
Mighty men are not known by their size or stature, but they are people of influence and accomplishment through the help of God and their personal passion.
The bible in the old testament spoke about many mighty men and women like Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, Joseph and David; and we have a lot to learn from them.
The whole book of new testament did not refer to any man as mighty man except in two places in the book of Revelation where mighty men was mentioned. The book of Revelation spoke about the destruction and doom of the mighty men in the world.
Apart from Jesus that was referred to as a prophet mighty in deeds and word before God and all the people, no one else was referred to as mighty in the new testament.
But in Act 2:2, The holy ghost came as a rushing mighty wind and descended on the people of GOD and made them mighty men and women.
The holy ghost was mighty in them to do mighty miracles and wonders.
In Rm.15:18-19, Apostle Paul operated in the holy ghost and did mighty signs of an apostle.
In IICor.12:12: He manifested the signs of an apostles which are signs and wonders.
In Gal.2:8: He said "he that wrought effectual in Peter, the same was mighty in me".
The coming of the Holy Spirit is the secret of all the mighty men and women in the new testament. All that are baptised in the holy ghost are mighty men and women potentially.
In the old testament, there are people who were referred to as mighty men of valour (Josh.6:2), mighty men of war (ISam.16:18), mighty man of wealth (Ruth2:1) and mighty men of David (in IISam.23:8). All these people at one time or the other were helped by the Holy spirit.
CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING ABOUT MIGHTY MEN
1.Mighty men are not born, they are made, Release yourself to be processed. Jn.8:32, Is.64:8.
2.They have emotions but are not ruled or controlled by their emotions. Rm.8:1-2, Rm.6:6-8, 14, Gal.2:20
3.They are consumed with the sense of responsibility. Jn.12:26, Mt.11:28-30, Mt.16:24.
4.They also have the habit of sacrificial living. Ps.20:3-4, Gen.22:16-18, IIChron.1:6-7.
5.Mighty men are men of integrity, they swear to their own hurt and keep promises. Ps.15, Ps.34:11-14, Ps.1:1-3.
6.They build up their strong areas to overcome the weak areas of their lives. Jude 20, Rm.6:10, Rm.8:11.
7.They activate their purpose to cover circumstance, and they always see possibilities. Jn.11:40,Lk.1:37,Ex.14:13.
8.They are goal getters, achievers, and they fight to finish. Gen.14:14-16, ISam.30:17-19,ITim.1:18-19.

SUNDAY SCHOOL:                    THE FORCE OF YOUR FAITH

ROM1:17: For therein is the righteousness of God REVEALED from faith to faith as it is written, the just shall live by faith.

Every profession have their semantics (language), e.g. medical fields, legal fields, military, Engineering and so on.

In the kingdom of God, faith is our own language (for example, saying it is well either good or bad, I am rich either you are rich or poor, I am healed either sick or healthy, e.t.c.)

As a citizen of the kingdom of God, you should definitely know how to speak the language of this kingdom where you belong.

Faith is complex, it is very deep and very wide, when we talk about faith in God, we cannot finish learning about it because God is eternal, unending. Man cannot know everything  about God and about faith. That is why we keep on learning about God and faith all the days of our life.

The more you commit yourself to this learning, the more your measure of faith increases. Faith comes by hearing and hearing of the word of God (Rm.10:17).

The more your measure of faith increases, the better for you. It is very unfortunate that spiritual ignorance is rampant among Christians. The Christians of our time are not like the Berrien Christians who will hear a teaching in the church and check it in their personal studies at home, thereby changing their mind for good. Remember a changed mind is a changed life.

You cannot afford to be ignorant, it is too costly. Knowledge is a blessing (Jn.8:32), and ignorance is a curse (Hosea 4:6). If you are ignorant, you are forever under a curse even as a child of God.

SEVEN THINGS TO DO WITH YOUR FAITH
1.Increase in your knowledge of faith. IPt.1:3-6, IPt.1:10, IITim.2:15.
2.Feed your faith and starve your doubt. Prov.4:20-23, Act.17:10, Ps.119:162.
3.Build your faith to be strong. Jude 20, Act 21:32, Eph.6:10.
4.Release your faith into action on daily basis by speaking the word. Rm10:6-8, Ja.1:25, Ja.2:17.
5.Be persistent in your faith. Lk.18:3-5, Jer.29:12-13, Heb.11:6.
6.Be bold in your faith, the bolder you are, the more it works. IITim.1:7, Phil.1:28.
7.Do not stagger in your faith, spend some personal private time in praise and worship. Rm.4:20, Rm.5:2, Ps.107:1-2.

SUNDAY SCHOOL: WALKING FROM DISCOURAGEMENT TO PURPOSE

Jn.14:1: Let not your heart be troubled, ye believe in God, believe also in me.
Research has proved that the part of the human brain that carries negative memories is bigger and larger than the part of the brain that carries positive memories.
So, if one hundred people speak well of you and one person abuses and condemns you, you can easily be broken, unhappy, and discouraged, thinking and remembering what he said, forgetting how irrelevant and unimportant that one person is compared to the one hundred that have spoken well and approved you. This is because the bad and the ugly replays back to you several times than the good.
But thanks be to God, we can switch and change the negative channel to the positive channel. If you dwell on the negative memory, it will corrupt your zeal and desire to move forward (ICor.15:33).
Remember your testimonies and believe they can be repeated. God is able to do it again.
God desires you to put your mind and your focus on him even though many things are calling for your attention, distracting you, discouraging and disturbing you. The call of God for you today is to put your mind on God, so you can allow Him to bless you the way he wants. If you despise him, he will despise you (ISam.2:30).
It may not be your turn but it is your time(Ps.102:13) and there is nothing anyone can do about that.
Get out of discouragement, Arise in the strength of the Lord and let your enemies be disappointed and scattered.
CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING AS YOU PUT YOUR FOCUS ON JESUS
1.The presence of Jesus gives you peace, let your desire for his presence increase. Ps.84:7, Ps.26:3, Ps.63:1-2.
2.If you get discouraged, you can no more see the good future, you can only see the good olden days, then you stop progressing. Josh.1:6-8, Is.43:18-19, Jn.14:1
3.In the thick and thin, no matter how tough or difficult, keep moving, God will see you through. Ps.23:4, Ex.14:15, Isam.30:6-8.
4.If you will delight in God’s presence, and you will develop a habit of coming to worship, it is a matter of time, your story will change. Gen.39:2-3, Isam.22:1-2, II Sam.23:8-21.
There are some people that have love God enough, obey God enough, serve God enough, give to God enough and fear God enough, yet they are still walking towards perfection, but they can’t be conquered, they can’t be overtaken, you can’t prevail against them, and they can’t be killed by their enemy.
5.God is using your trials and circumstances to process your glory. Without fire there can be no lighter motion. We are clay in the hand of the potter. Jn.8:32, Is.64:8, Mt.4:19.

SUNDAY SCHOOL: WALKING FROM DARKNESS TO LIGHT
Is.60:2: For behold darkness shall cover the earth and gross darkness the people but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and His glory shall be seen upon thee.
If you are sensitive and can discern, you will agree that the darkness in this world and its generation in the lives of individuals are so thick and prevailing on individual circumstances to the extent that human hopelessness is on the increase on daily basis.

The strength of darkness has been so thick that an average human being cannot boldly and clearly say what is happening for him, or against him in the realm of the spirit. People don’t understand the reason why there are sudden calamities, unexpected troubles, or why things should be the way they are or what lies ahead in their future, either good or bad.
This is the major reason why we must individually continue to sow the seed of the word of God for our tomorrow, because, apart from our faith in God, nobody knows what lies ahead, good or bad. But as we continue to hear the word, pray the word, confess the word, live according to the word, it becomes the only light (the only hope for our future (Jn.1:9).
The strength of darkness is in ignorance. Satan takes advantage of the ignorance and the unseriousness of people to manifest himself like a powerful force over their lives.
The moment the power and the knowledge of the word of God shows up, every operation of the enemy becomes null and void (Lk.10:19).
CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING
1.When you switch on the light, darkness has no option other than to withdraw. Jn.1vs 5,  Gen.1:1-3,  Mt.5:14
2.The word of God is light and He is the same God Almighty. Jn.1:1,  ITim.6:16,  Ja.1:17.
3.Your continuous rapport with the word of God is the only reason why your future is secure and that you will conquer every adversary. Josh.1:8,  Prov.4:20-23,  Heb.4:12.
4.The word of God becomes fire against your enemies as you read, meditate, confess, and live by it. Ps.18:12-13,  Heb.12:29,  Ez.1:1,4.
5.You are a terror to your enemy, don’t let them terrify you, they are the one who should flee not you.           Deut. 28:7,  Ps. 89:20-23, Ja.4:7.
6.The word of God has made you god over your enemies. Lk.10:19,  Jn.10:35, Jn.14:12.
7.Soldiers and policemen must keep coming back to their stations and barracks for retraining, re-equipping, directions and assignments; so, you have to keep coming to the church for re-empowerment. Heb.10:25,  Ps. 27:4,  Ps. 84:7

SUNDAY SCHOOL:  THINGS THAT MOVE GOD ON YOUR BEHALF
Different things move different people to do what they are reluctant to do, what they want to do later or what they would not have done at all.
When you start to praise some people and speak well of them, they will be glad and eager to do something to show their appreciation that you know their worth.
When you show love to some people, they get committed to you and trust that you will not harm them; they can also bless you to reward or encourage the love you have shown  them.
Some, when you give generously to them, they can do for you what they would not have done ordinarily for anyone, to prove to you that they appreciate your kind gesture.
Some people, when you exercise trust or speak to show that you believe in them, they will strive not to betray your trust.
All these can be summed up in an adage that says "one good turn deserves another". The scripture says "whoso rewards evil for good, evil shall not depart from his house" (Prov.17:13).
Most human beings don’t reward good, but many will do anything to reward the good done to them; God had placed a curse on them because He himself is a rewarder.
We were made in the image and likeness of God. And like God, we have different things that touch us and move us to go extra mile to do something good or extra ordinary for somebody.
THINGS THAT MOVE GOD
1.Mercy moves God to your direction. Ex. 20:6, Mt.5:7, Lk.1:50.
2.Love towards God and the brethren stirs God up on your behalf. Ps.91:14-16, ICor.2: 9-10, ICor.16:22.
3.Faith moves God to do miracles for you. Mk.2:5, Mk.5:34, Ja.2:14-17.
4.Your sacrificial giving moves God to do mighty things on your behalf. IIChron.1:6-7, Ps. 20:2-4, Gen.22:16-18.
5.You can move God to work wonders through your praise and worship. Act 16:25-26, Ps.107:22, IIChron.20:22.
NOTE: God is unlimited, and his blessings are also unlimited. There is no limit to the blessings and miracles that he  can do for you, but the measure of miracle and blessings you will receive from God will depend on what you are willing to receive from him not what he is willing to give. He has never placed a limit on you and the blessings you can receive from him. The ball is in your court.

SUNDAY SCHOOL:           HOW TO BE STRONG IN THE LORD
Dan. 11:32 And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall be corrupted with flatteries, but the people that do know their God shall be strong and do exploits.

Dan.11:32:(from the Message Bible) The king of the North will play up to those who betray the holy covenant, corrupting  them even further with his seductive talk, but those who stay courageously loyal to their God will take a strong stand.
It is very compulsory for every believer to be strong, because what is opposing you is too serious for you to relax. The degree of weakness in your life will determine the degree at which the devil will prevail over you. You can no more afford to do things the way you like.
You need spiritual strength because of the people that are looking up to you for encouragement and spiritual strength. What God will accomplish through you will be achieved through your level of spiritual strength.
Mary the mother of Jesus was strong to receive the promise that God sent to her; though the message was ridiculous (a virgin to conceive), yet she had the strength to receive and conceive it (Lk.1:38). Unlike Zechariah the father of John the Baptist who found it so difficult to believe and receive the promise that God sent to him, that angel has to make him deaf so that he will not nullify the promise by his word. (Lk.1:18-20).
You also need to be strong because of the good and bad influences you will be exposed to in the course of your life. If you are not strong enough, you will fall through wrong influences.
The devil will bring many things that look right; in order to discern accurately, you have to be strong.
BE STRONG TO DO THE FOLLOWING
1.Be strong in the truth and confront errors and lies. llThess.2:10-12 , 11Timo.2:18-19.
2.Be strong in  God’s word, don’t neglect it, don’t despise it. Prov.4:20-22, Heb.4:12
3.Be strong in prayers.Eph.6:10-12, Ja.4:6-8.
4.Be strong in  sensitivity to the Holy spirit. Rom.8:14, Jn.14:26.
5.Be strong in  saying no to compromise and temptations. Rm.8:2-4, Rm.5:17-19.
6.Be strong in offering your service and resources for the progress of the kingdom of God.
Ex. 23:25-26, Jn.12:26.
7.Be strong in the practice of your faith. Rm.4:19-20, Mk.11:22-24.

SUNDAY SCHOOL:                          ASSURANCE OF SALVATION
Jn.3:16: For God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten son that whosoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life.
Whosoever is rescued from the mouth of lion or from fire disaster will never forget it in a hurry; sin is fire and it burns to eternity.
Being sure of one’s salvation is very helpful especially when the devil the accuser of the brethren brings doubts, worry or fear. At such times if you doubt your salvation, you can be vulnerable.
Some people say they have been born again but they don’t know when; it is because when they confessed Jesus as their Lord and saviour, they have not decided to live for him, they still continue in their old way of life.
If you decide to give your life to Jesus and with determination stop some wayward and lawless attitude that you used to enjoy, you will remember when you took that action and why you acted that way.
CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING
1.Our salvation is full and free. Mt.1:21, Rm.5:7-9.
To be saved from sin is to be free from sin. Attending fellowship and living in sin is not salvation; gradually turning a new leaf is not salvation. Salvation is a complete change from our old ways of life.
2.Can I be sure of my salvation? Rm. 8:15-16, IJn. 2:2-3. To claim being saved and not sure is equal to not being saved. If you are truly saved, don’t let any demon or any individual take you out of it.
The word "Salvation" in the Greek language means "zozo" which is deliverance from sin, sickness and poverty.
3.Be strong in prayers.Eph.6:10-12, Ja.4:6-8.
How can I continue to enjoy my salvation?
(a)Yield yourself totally unto the Lord more and more everyday as you thirst and hunger after righteousness. Ja. 4:6-7, Phil.2:13, Rm.12:1-2.
Clay in the hand of the potter can be molded into the most beautiful object ever known. Unyielding is carnality, and to be carnally minded is death.(Rm.8:6).
(b)Increase the practice of your faith daily. Ps.1:1-3, Col.3:16, IITim.3:16-17.
What fills your heart is what rules your life. Be filled always with the Spirit and the wisdom of God for your life to be under the control of God.
(c)Tell somebody about your faith. If you believe that what you believe is real and good, you should be excited to share it with somebody. Jn.1:45-46,Prov.11:30, Jude 21-23.
Your salvation becomes more real to you as you repeatedly share it with others. It also becomes easy for you to practise what you are telling others.

SUNDAY SCHOOL:                  LIVING BEYOND THE ORDINARY
1Peter.2:9-10. But ye are a chosen generation a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people, that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light. Which  in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.
If we carefully think about the scripture above, we should all believe that we all have the challenge of how our lives could measure up to what God has planned for us.
How can we be a peculiar person, an holy people or someone who manifests the Glory and praises of God? How do we live the life of an ambassador of Christ on earth? How do we live like someone who is no more in darkness and doesn’t have any relationship with darkness?
We all really have a long way to go, we really have a very serious work to do. But unfortunately, instead of individual Christians to settle down and learn the principles of how to dominate as God has  purposed it for us, most people are just seeking miracles.
If we follow principles, miracles will follow us and by faith we will work wonders. But if we are followers of miracles, we are as empty as a little baby that knows nothing. If you give a costly blessing to a baby, the baby will sheepishly loose it.
What you don’t know, you don’t know; we ought to settle for knowledge of divine principles. It is only by obedience and practice of faith that our heart desires can be granted.
CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING
1.Action validates knowledge; your action is a proof of what you know. Jn.8:32, 11Tim.2:15.
2.You are either in control or you are being controlled. Gen. 2:15, Gen. 1:27-28, Lk.10:19.
3.A phase in your life is not enough to make conclusion; no condition is permanent. 2Cor.4:18, Eccl.3:1
4.Givers rule the world; you are in control to the extent of how you can give. The present is secure by what you receive but the future is secured by what you give. Act. 20:35, Eccl.11:1,4,6.
5.God may not pay back in currency; God is a rewarder, and He has a pay day. 1Cor.15:58, Heb.6:10.
6.Untrained person is an unfit person in life. 1Sam.17:33-37, Mt.11:28-30. What you don’t know, you don’t know.
7.In the plantation of the most high God, only fruit-bearing plants get spared. Jn. 15:1-2, Prov. 11:30. Fruitfulness is not an option for every believer; it is a must.

SUNDAY SCHOOL:                 HOLY CONMMUNION SERVICE
Communion meal was a major service or ordinance in the old testament. It is a sign of friendship, loyalty or comradeship, exchange of strength, trust, covenants, gifts and blessings.
Violation means betrayal, it attracts grievous consequences. Covenant broken attracts death penalty.
The imperfect Levitical priesthood was based on this, which they referred to as feasts.
Holy communion in the New testament is based on the perfect  priesthood of Jesus.
As the satanic world operates a confederation and regularly practise sharing of meat and blood in their attempt to service their covenants (which they actually copied from the kingdom of God), so the believers are also called by Jesus, the head of the church to partake in the New testament ordinance of Holy Communion.
God gave communion to bring the brethren together. Our eating together and waiting for others is a sign that we are united. It also reminds us that we belong to a group of people that is referred to as the body of Christ.
As we partake in the body of Christ, we receive restoration of health in our organs. The bread is the emblem of the Lord's body and the wine is the blood of Christ, we must imagine it that way.
As we take communion, the holy spirit changes the bread to the body of Christ and the wine to blood of Christ 1Cor.11:24-25
BENEFITS OF THE COMMUNION.
1.It is our obedient response to the ordinance of the Lord. 1Cor.11:23-26, 1Jn.2:3.
2.It is a period we remember to worship our Lord for his work, teachings and death. Our hearts are full of overwhelming love for the Lord.Rm.8:35, Rm.5:5-8.
3.It brings Unity to the church, it is a period we come together in one mind, having nothing against anyone. Ps.133:1-3, 1Cor.11:33-34.
4.It is a period of self examination; it is a time we must make sure that our relationship is okay, a time we are to judge ourselves. 1Cor.11: 27-:30, Jn.9:1,41.
5.Our action proclaims that he died for us every time we do this Communion until He comes. 1Cor.11:26.
6.Our hope of his return is renewed in communion service. Heb.11:1
7.In communion service, we remember the enemies copy the same and boast of their power as they exercise it in boldness. What about the believers that have the real authentic power?                   Lk.10:19, Mk.16:17-20

SUNDAY SCHOOL:                          POWER OF YOUR SEED
Ps.126:5-6: They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.

Everything you are today is the result or the harvest of the seeds you sowed in the past. Your seeds give you the opportunity to determine what you want your future to become.
We have numerous seeds we can sow for a better future. The seed of love, the seed of mercy, the seed of forgiveness, the seed of help, the seed of service, the seed of prayers and intercession, the seed of honour and respect, the seed of giving etc.
Some feel if they attempt to sow the seeds above, they will be cheated or abused, but if you sow those seeds toward them, they will be glad to receive.
Jesus our Lord gave a golden rule in Mathew  7:12: "therefore all things whatever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them for this is the law and the prophets".
Every good have its prices but if you do good, you will reap it and the results or the rewards because they are from God and are so tremendous. Obedience to the word of God  is the reason for great, unusual or uncommon blessings that flow forever.
Gal.6:7: Be not deceived. God is not mocked, for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
Every good you sow, you will reap.
CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING.
1.We have a choice to be what we want to become in life through our seeds. Deut.30:19-20.             Deut. 16:16-17
2.You become so dear to the heart of God through your giving because he is a giving God. IISam.7:1-5, Ps.89:20-23,  Jn.3:16
3.Through your giving, you become a memorial(unforgettable) in the heart of God. Act10:1-4, Heb.11:4
4.Your giving is your choice to receive the miraculous, unusual, uncommon and continuous blessings from God. IIkgs. 4:8-17, Gen. 26:12.
5.To a giver, things that are lost are restored back in seven fold. But to others when they lose a thing, it is lost forever. IIkgs. 8:1-6, Prov. 6:30-31.
6.The reward of your giving and sowing of the seeds of obedience will flow to generations after you. Gen.22:10-19, Ps.89:28-29.
7.Sowing precious seeds acquires for you an irreplaceable position in the heart of God. Phil.2:5-10, IIChron. 1:6-12.
Everybody has something to give; giving promotes you from the realm of being blessed to the realm of being a blessing.

SUNDAY SCHOOL:                   BENEFITS OF BEING COURAGEOUS
Josh. 1 : 7 Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law which Moses my servant commanded thee, turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper withersoever thou goest.
Courage will give you the strength like lion and the boldness to pursue your goals and achieve your aims prosperously. It will give you the strength to pursue your enemies, strike them down and take over what belongs to you.
Courage will  give you the energy of an eagle to overtake and recover all. Courage is the will of God for you.
IIPeter.1:2-3. Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue.
You have a relationship with God, you have a position as a child of God, you have the Holy spirit, the Spirit of God himself, and you have possessions (your gifts and potentials) in Christ Jesus. You have the very nature of God. You have the Word of God that has been enabling you to live a Godly life. All these are your sources of encouragement.
Life does not give you what you desire, life will only give you what you demand by force.
Even if what you desire is legitimately yours, you must lay a demand physically and spiritually by violence before you will be allowed to possess it.
When you are attacked for doing good or for living right, it is an attack of Satan to discourage you. When you are discouraged, you hand over power to your enemy to torment you and eventually kill you.
CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING.
1.If Satan cannot discourage you, he cannot defeat you.1Sam.30:6-8, 1Sam.30:18-19.
NOTE: Any warrior discouraged has lost the battle.
2.When you are encouraged, you put power in the hand of angels to take over your battles.
Heb.1:13-14, 1Sam.30:17.
3.There is possibility behind every impossibility. Lk.1:37, Mk.9:23.
4.Trust God with zeal to take you to the finishing line. Ps.37:3-5, Mt. 11:12.
5.Dliberately walk away from unbelievers, and stand strong in faith.1Jn. 5:4, Jude 20.
6.Refuse to be discouraged. Heb.12:2, Josh.1:6-8.
7.Be possessed with the habit of thanksgiving. Heb.13:15, Eph.5:20.
NOTE: life is not a bed of roses, the devil has a purpose to make life miserable for man. Everything God made for man were meant to be enjoyed but the devil wants to make it painful for them. Believers must therefore rise up and frustrate him, with the assurance that God is with us. Ps.46:7.

SUNDAY SCHOOL:                      HOW TO RUN THE RACE OF LIFE
Heb.12:1-2. Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight and the sin which doth so easily beset us and let us Run with patience the race that is set before us. Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith, who for the Joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
God Almighty wanted everybody to have something they are living for, when he send a man down to the earth, he also set a race before him. It is our personal responsibility to find out the specific race that God has set before us and run the race according to his instructions.
If we find out our specific race on earth and we pay the price to run it, an indescribable Joy lies ahead of us. The scripture above stated that "for the joy that was set" before Jesus, he endured the cross, despising the shame.
What is the cross you need to endure for the progress of the kingdom of God? What is the cross you need to endure for the fulfillment of your destiny, for your own divine assignment and purpose? Whatever the cross you need to endure, it's cost cannot be more than the reward. Jesus gave his life because he knew that the reward cannot be compared with the price.
Whatever the shame that will come out of your doing the will of God or anything that will please God, despise it and join yourself to Jesus to be on the throne; that will indeed be great and awesome.
CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING ABOUT THE RACE OF LIFE
(1) The race is not an hundred or two hundred metre race, it is indeed a long race that one must run with patience. Heb.12:1, 11Peter 1:5-6.
(2) We have to lay aside every weight and the sins that want to hinder us, as we examine ourselves daily in the race. Ps.119:11, Prov.14:34.
(3)Unless you keep your focus firmly on Jesus, the race of life can really be miserable. Heb.12:2,Jn.15:1-5
(4)We are not just running a race, we should run with the zeal and determination to win.
1Cor. 9:24-26, Joel2:49.
(5)If we would allow the holy spirit to help us, we shall run to the finishing line in strength and get our reward. Rm.8:26, Zech.4:6.
(6)There is a specific race set before everyone in life.Heb.12:1, Jer.29:11.
(7)The race of life is not only about wining, it is also about running lawfully.11Timo.2:5,1Timo.1:8.

SUNDAY SCHOOL:                                 THE UNLIMITED GOD
Ps.24:1-2. The earth is the LORD's and the fullness thereof, the world and they that dwell  therein. for he hath founded it upon the seas and established it upon the floods.
The same God who created the heaven and the earth is our father. He is not only the maker he is also the sole owner of everything visible and invisible
This same God knows each and every one of us by name, he knows everything about us, he knows what everyone needs, he knows what we are passing through, he knows all our needs (Mt.6:32), and he knows what he will do about them (Jn.6:6).
He  has glorious and eternal plans for our lives (Jer.29:11); He knows how to process us, make us and mold us to fit into his plans for our lives, for he is the porter and we are the clay in his hands. (Is.64:8).
When we are individually confronted with the situations of life, it always seem as if God is limited,
but God is never limited until a man or a woman decides to limit him. He is able to do the things that are beyond the imagination and the understanding of man if we would allow him.
The major challenge is that we limit God many times because we lack knowledge of the fact that we must partner with God through our faith, and response to him in whatever miracle and blessing we need in our lives. Ephesian.3:20 says: Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh us.
CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING
(1) God is unlimited in grace.Eph.2:5-9.
(2) His grace is sufficient for all situations. 1Cor.12:9.
(3) We have unlimited reign through his grace. Rom.2:17.
HE IS UNLIMITED IN LOVE
(1) God himself is love- 1Jn.4:8.
(2) His love is extreme- Jn.3:16.
(3) No man can love like him- Jn.15:13.
HE IS UNLIMITED IN MERCY
(1) God is rich in mercy-Eph.2:4-5.
(2) His mercy is compared with the distance between heaven and earth. Psm.103:11.
(3) In his mercy he will bless us if we would call on him. Mk. 10:46-52.
HE IS NOT LIMITED LIKE MAN
(1) He doesn't sleep or slumber. Ps.121:3-4.
(2) He is not limited by death.Rev.4:9.
(3) He never grows Old. Ps.90:1-2.
NOTE: Take advantage of the unlimited God to stop the enemy in  every area he has limited you.

SUNDAY SCHOOL:                OUR ACCESS TO GOOD SUCCESS
Josh.1:8: This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth but thou shall meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein, for then thou shall make thy way prosperous and then thou shalt have GOOD SUCCESS.
God has made a way where there is no way for his children. He has given everyone who is willing, a clear access to good success.
Many people are successful but their success is not good success. Solomon in the Bible had too much but his success faded away with time. It got to a time that he started putting heavy tax on the people so he could run his Government. IKgs.12:1-4.
What God desires for us is promotion without demotion, salvation without backsliding, victory without being bound again, and prosperity that adversity cannot prevail against.
Every success gotten by anyone in ways that are contrary to the will of God cannot stand the test of time. The success that was acquired in the will of God must continue to exist according to the will of God. We must understand that the obedience, commitment and the prayer life that brought the success are also the same factors that will retain the success and even more.
There is a power to attain and greater power to retain. These are the secrets of a good successful life.
Remember that there are success and prosperity that people possess outside of God. This is the success of fools according to Prov. 1:32; such prosperity leads to the destruction of its owner.
CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING
(1) When you put God first, he will not make you the last Josh.1:8, Deut.28:13
(2) If you rob God, he will place a curse on you. Mal.3:8-19, Mt.23:23.
(3)Don't forget your source, don't forget the one that bless you. Man is prone to forgetting easily. Deut. 8:17-18,  Dan. 4:30-32.
(4) Abraham obeyed to prove to God that he had no idol. Gen. 22:1-3, Is.1:19-20.
(5) If you obey and serve the Lord, he will bring his promises to pass. Job36:11, Ex.23:25-26.
(6) Depart completely from evil, start to do good. Job 22:23-29, Psm. 34:12-16.
(7) Don't forget the law of harvest. Law has no respect for person. Just like God is no respecter of person. Gal.6:7-8, Act10:34-36.
NOTE: This is your own time, rise up to possess your possessions. God made everything for the comfort of mankind and everything he made for us was good. Your enemy doesn't want you to succeed, but your disobedience is an agreement with your enemy that you desire to fail. Obey God so he could be glorified in your life.
